Do you think that death by heart failure would feel the same as death by heart attack?

By the way, is a "heart failure" the same as a "heart attack"?

I'm assuming that heart failure means "congestive heart failure", or CHF. As far as a heart attack, or acute myocardial infarction (AMI) go, they are sometimes very quick and then they're gone (sadly). CHF isn't usually like AMI. CHF is usually a very chronic disease managed medically, although a lot of CHF patients are a huge risk for AMI (and usually die from it, too). But to just straight up die from CHF is probably a slower process and you have more time to reflect and be with your family and friends. Ultimately people with CHF have an AMI or some lethal heart rhythm that is overwhelming. AMI can be very sudden and deadly, although a lot of times it is not this way. Hope it helped, mate.

Yes but one would be a little slower that the other.

yes they are the same heart attack is when the heart stops. heart failure - same thing. Although there are varying degrees of heart failure , from mild to severe to complete failure. It basically means the heart isn't pumping the blood around the body like it needs to.

I asked an elderly fellow that once. He had recently died of a heart attack, and he told me that heart attacks happen fast, whereas heart failure is a slower and much more frustrating death.

Heart failure simply means that the heart is no longer working as a pump.
A "heart attack" as most people think of it; is technically called a Myocardial Infarction; or M.I.

I think the heart failure one would be worse; because not only would your chest hurt like hell from the heart being hypoxic and dying; you'd technically be drowning in your own blood. If the heart can't pump the blood out of the atria; it goes back into the pulmonary vein and back into the lungs. It will actually fill the alveoli with fluids so you can't get any gas exchange when you breathe in. (the drowning feeling)

Lethal heart rhythm, eh? Some of those people are only stable once they've reached asystole anyway.

u got it all messed up ,heart attack (myocardial infarction is sudden death due many causes mostly the heart a an area dies or other complications)while heart failure is a long agonizing process and most die not directly from the heart failure but other complications that arise .)
