Is their finical help for people with congestive heart failure?

I am 32, with Dialated Cardiomypoathy/Congestive heart Failure. I work full time now and the stress of it makes my heart get worse...I am not making enough money (my husband is in the Marine Corp.). I need to bring in more money and I am willing to get a second job, but I know that it will just make my heart worse, and could jeporidze my health. Is their any kind of goverment thing that can help someone like me? Like some kind of finical aid as a sublament so that I don't have to jepordize my health by trying to work a second job? Anyone know of anything that can help me? thank you.

You could try SSI, but I don't think it will ok you right away. I am so sorry about your heart. Just take care of yourself and worry about $ later. You don't have the strength and time to work yourself to death early. Please just stop. Get food stamps and a medical card if you have to. Spend time resting and making memories with your family while you can. You are more important and worth more that any cash you can bring in.

Your husband is in the military, don't you have coverage. Call the Heart assn.

You might qualify for SSI benefits.

Try for your S.S.Disablity you should qualify even though the will more than likely make you get a lawyer so you have to give them money it takes about 1yr to the date you ably which is tough because you can't work the whole time but you'll get a lump sum for back pay which is what the lawyer gets pay from but its better than death GOOD LUCK & prayers for the boys in uniform

I found a usa pharmacy that has lipitor for only $17 a month

before I found the link above I was paying almost $110 a month for the exact same pills.

I am speaking from experience. I have had Dilated Cardiomypoathy/Congestive heart Failure since 1996 at the age of 26, I'm 37 now. Getting SSD is easy. but that is not what you need to worry about the most. If you are not making 'enough' money, on SSD you will be making less. If you already know you are getting worse because of the stress of one job, pushing yourself more will only mean you will end up being put on a transplant list that much sooner if you last that long. Why do you feel the need to push so hard. The bills will still be there even if you aren't. I worked 2 jobs for about 6 months and paid a heavy price for it. You could check the local welfare office to see if you qualify for food stamps, but most people working full time with a husband don't qualify for much financial assistance.
