Is there a cure for a baby being born w/heart defects if so is there a cure and what? |
from congenital heart defects? Hey, you are dealing with a baby's heart and this is NO place to get answers. Only a pediatric cardiologist is qualified to give you any advice on that. But maybe someone here can tell you about their experience with similar problems, just so you'll know what possiblities there are. The TRUE answer to your question will still be from someone who is medically qualified to answer this for you, and that means a Doctor. me22 gave you a good answer. There are several treatments for pediactric cardiac conditions and it depends on the condition which answer is correct. A pediactirc specialist will have your answer(s) for you...you need to ask the questions. The wisdom of your baby's care does NOT lay with us, it is with the doctor and you. Surgery. Or non-evasive treatments. There are many great pediatric cardiologists out there that can fix these problems even if the baby is hours old. Look into some specialists around your area. It really depends on the deffect the baby has. There are many congenital deffects and therefore different treatments. Some deffects do not require surgery, other do require surgery. It really depends on the problem. You should really visit your pediatrician and he will reccomend a doctor for you. |
