Is there any future for children born with heart defects and is there any treatmant?

Is there any future for children born with heart defects and is there any treatmant?

It depends on the which defect or how many defects they have. There are 4 common congenital heart defects and a child can be born with one or any combination of the 4, some are born with all 4. Often if it is caught early and treated properly (treatment includes a lot of parent education) the child can lead a productive life. Limitations may vary greatly on the individual.

I believe the key is compliance with the plan you and your physician have set up and the proper monitoring. If necessary some conditions can be treated with surgery.

It depends on the heart defect. Without any details about it, I can't tell you a whole lot, but many can be repaired with surgery, and many patients go on to live normal, healthy lives.

Any born defect can be corrected only with surgery.
