you are confusing your self and and the answering community.heart defects do not prevent the bacteria from gaining entry into the blood system.it is on the contrary makes its entry easy to the lungs and body as blood can travel through the defect.klebsiela infection can be community acquired most of the time.it is from a person having pneumonia usually a alcoholic or immunodeficient person such as person with hiv.it is also can be hospital acquired by way of cahteterisation of urinary tract. blood system or other invasive procedure.or instrumention of the body.person having pneumonia spreads the bacteria through air dropllets while coughing open mouth.
