Anyone else had kids with Hypoplastic left Heart Syndrome?

My son is 18 months old and has had all 3 surgeries. I'm just wanting to meet and talk to some other folks who have kids with heart defects!
I'd love to hear your stories!

here is my sons web site

WOW that is awesome!! That is so great he was able to have the last one so young. We've been told between 3 and 4 years old for the Fontan.
My son is now 4 months old, and has had 2 of the 3 surgerys. His Glenn was the 29th of Nov. and we were home by Dec. 3rd. He is such a wonderful, brave boy.
I hope all is well with Ethan. Thank you for posting this question. Take care and feel free to contact me for any reason.

Oh, Lindy, this is so sweet.....
I'm not a mother yet, i'm only a girl of 13. I'm really very proud of you to see that you did so much for your son. I just answered this question because i can't help congratulating you of what you did for your lovely son. he looks quite healthy now, doesn't he? oh you are so sweet. i know nothing about Hypoplastic left Heart Syndrome, and i'm very glad that you and your son told me about it.
I am always very concerned about kids with heart defects because i went through it too. I don't know exactly about what was wrong with me but i knew from my mum about me turning blue when i was born. I was well again in about 10 days after medication. it makes me fell so grateful for being alive this day. I had heart murmur at that time. i simply can't imagine me having blue skin at that time. i'm actually curious about what's wrong with me but never want to remind my mom about it.
Anyway, i was trying to tell you to tell your son about it when he grows up. He will feel the same way i'm feeling now.... Thank God i'm alive. Although i'm still facing palpitations, low blood sugar and hypotension, i'm not dealing with problems with my heart anymore. You are blessed, so is your child. Take care of your child, and yourself, and your family, they need it....
(i did not sign your guestbook because i did not want to take the trouble to register. This is what i would say if i did sign your guestbook. Lots of love)
