My daughter has a congential heart defect, be accept for SSI?

I was wondering if my daughter who was just born 6 days ago would apply for any kind of assistant to help with medical bills, and trips to the doctors and living expenses for her she has been diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and pumonary valve stenosis

It would depend your financial status and ability to pay off the bills. SSI would not cover but perhaps Medicade would.
