Question about the heart?

if you have a heart defect where the septum has a hole and the major blood vessels are transposed (switched), aorta to right ventricle, pulmonary artery to left ventricle ...how will it affect...

the electrocardiograph reading
the efficiency of oxygen delivery
flow of blood through heart
and any other implications?

...i know the oxygenated and deoxygenated bloods will get mixed up...but what else?

thanks for the help! :)

In transposition of the great arteries, the aorta and pulmonary artery are reversed. The aorta receives the oxygen-poor blood from the right ventricle, but it's carried back to the body without receiving more oxygen. Likewise, the pulmonary artery receives the oxygen-rich blood from the left ventricle but carries it back to the lungs.

All the details are on the below websites.
