Need something cheaper than COBRA insurance for daughter (just turned 25) who has a congenital heart defect.? |
HELP! She graduated from college and is in the process of looking for a job. The company she will work for in the future may or may not offer group health insurance. We live in Texas. She must stay covered, as she might need a heart transplant someday. According to HIPPA, we have 63 days to either enroll in COBRA or find our own insurance so as to not lose exclusion to the pre-existing condition clause. HELP! May I suggest to you Ameri Plan. They do not have any restrictions on ongoing conditions and you can start saving immediately. There is a hospital advocacy program that assigns you a personal advocate to negotiate with doctors on your medical bills. Ouch. Is there any way you can get her on your insurance? |
