I'm a New mom and my baby is sick with a heart defect what do I do??

take care of the baby the best you can, and try to be grateful for what you have been given. you will do fine. good luck with everything.

Put your faith in god and the medical professionals.
God bless you.

get advice from your doctor.

if you are struggling, go and see a health care professional. you never know, their may be other people out there that are in the exact same position as you, that can offer some help or guidance.

good luck to you, you'll be fine, i know it.

How serious is your baby? Can I know more detail of what is the condition of your baby now until I can provide you with a solution.

Be the best mom you can be, and find the best dr in your area... Hopefully it isn't a life threatening one..I was born w/an ASD, lived a normal life up until the past year or so... but other familial genes, headed me this way...
Be strong, and hang in there!!!

It is thought that around half of all babies and young children have innocent heart murmurs. These murmurs are called 鈥榠nnocent鈥?because they are not linked to any type of disease or structural abnormality. In most cases, the murmur will resolve by adolescence. However, a doctor鈥檚 stethoscope can鈥檛 always distinguish an innocent murmur from a harmful one. Further medical tests are sometimes needed to make sure there is no underlying problem.
