Am i a heart attack risk at 26?

atrial septal defect (hole between the Left and right atria) of the heart. The actual condition is called
a patent foramen ovale............the physician who answered my last question had it exactly right thanks a million......
But having had this condition along with being a smoker 26 female and having tyroid issues does this raise the risk of me having a heart attack? i am 5 foot 9 inches and 157 pounds so im not over weight but i have alot of heart palpations and get dizzy often.

It sounds like you spoke to a physician over this board. I hope you have your own cardiologist to consult. I am more concerned about pulmonary hypertension and your cardiac rhythm abnormalities. An ASD repair is usually relatively minor surgery. Someone who is young and has heart problems and smokes has a death wish..

So quit smoking before you end up in the hospital permanately.

you might be. eat healthier foods, dont eat things high in salt and fat. drink lots of water. get fit, excersize. if you are really worried about getting a heart attack than these are the thing syou need to do to make your heart and body stronger.
