Is anyone had a heart surgery very young? |
I'm 35 years old and had heart surgery last year and I will have those surgery every 10 years the problem i had a defect on the main valve and i was wondering if anyone had the same problem I had surgery when I was 3months, 2 years, and 5 years. Im going to be up for another one in ten years (potentially) Guess you have a mitral valve surgery... probably they changed the valve with a bioprosthetic valve which needs to be changed every ten years. But in between, have regular check up with you cardiologist. I had bypass surgery for coarctation of the aorta at age 35. |
