Heart attack???????? |
I was reading about some woman who was having jaw ache and pains across her chest and it turns out that she was about to have a massive heart attack. It's tough to answer this kind of question without knowing your age. If you are under 50 and no one in your family has a history of heart disease, and you have no heart defects, the chances are unlikely that you are having a heart attack. Many different things could be causing the sensations you are feeling. One is an anxiety (panic) attack, these can feel like a heart attack and come on suddenly, there are medications to help you with this. One could be TMJ which is a problem with your jaw, just too much stress can cause these symptoms too. If you are still worried, see your doctor If you are worried you are having a heart attack, get medical attention now! Call 911. If you're worried go and see your doctor. If you live in the UK then phone NHS direct - if not then go to their website, it's got lots of stuff on illnesses http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/ Any chest pain is a warning sign, if you're being irrational then all you'll feel is a bit foolish, at least you'll be alive. If you're having a hard time you're probably suffering from stress anyway. Go see your doctor! I don't know how old you are, but I doubt you are having a heart attack! It's probably sympathetic or pains brought on by reading about this woman. Your symptoms seem to be the same as the woman you read about! sometimes worry alone can cause you to have the same sensations that having a heart attack can...you need to calm down and relax and if you were having a heart attack it would of surely happened by now.... Dont get disheartened and start worrying too much. TRy to be in a relaxed mood and consult your doctor . Dont be careless also any discomfort in your body must be addressed immediately and that too by an expert doctor. get real if you are having these system call-an ambulance why are you on yahoo. |
