Heart attack at 59? |
5I had a tipple by-pass when 59 Years old for a heart attack. I am now 68 years old. My Father died of a hear attack when he was 41 and is brother dropped dead from a heart attack at 27 Most heart attacks happen at "REST". After a heavy meal, no walk or exercise, between. Be aware of what you are eating, and do continue to cut your grass and exercise. Obviously there is a genetic link, but if you eat well, exercise and love yourself, you can beat this! Good luck! Well are u waiting for one get your self to the doctors asap!!!! You should know better than anyone you might be getting ready to have a heart attack. Have you left yet? what are you waiting on?. Still here? The first thing you need to do is RELAX!!! you are having extreme anxiety attacks, probably due to you thinking that you are having a heart attack, or stroke. Your jaw may be sore from clenching your teeth, or tension caused by stress and worry. See your Dr. and get it checked out. you are constantly worrying which won't help. You don't have trouble when you exercises, do chores etc because your mind is focused elsewhere. Do yourself a favor.. go see a cardiologist immediately. Do not waste time in finding answers on the web when you should be working with doctors to help you be able to treat you better. Go to the doctor while you can get there under your own power. If you wait, you'll go in an ambulance. A blockage can stay stable for years and then close off in days. GO NOW. You have a strong family history of heart attacks, fatal ones at a young age. You also describe some scary symptoms, radiating chest pain to the jaw and down the arms, getting hot and diaphoretic, and numbness in the face etc. It's been reported that one out if five patients report very "mild" cardiac symptoms, called a"silent heart attack",with major cardiac damage was the result.Your symptoms are bordering on a term called "unstable angina".I would ask your MD for a consultation with another MD Cardiologist ASAP.. Take care. SW RNP Well are u under stress from worring about what happened to your family. It's kind of hard NOT to worry about it. Specially when it's in your family. Your jaws probably hurts because of the stress. Eat bananas for your blood pressure eat 2 a day. Take a aspirin ( a baby one 81 mg) for your platlets not to stick. And go to a doctor for some med. for stress. Also do something in the house u like and enjoy. I don't want to tell u do do something outside of the house, cause u probably have anxiety. Make your self feel good. We can't do anything for the people we had loved that past but we can a lot to make u better. I know how u feel... I been there. poor you, try not to worry to much, sounds like you may need another bypass,my dads waiting for a new vavle and vein i`m so worried i don`t think i could go on if any thing happened to him.GOOD LUCK! |
