What is the best substitute for Hearing Problems?

I am having difficulty in listening the low pitch sounds. I want to know the best treatment for this. Please help me out. I am 34 years old.

first off go to your doc and see if you have a build-up of wax in your ears. if you do, he can drain this right in the office. if this is not the problem or your hearing doesn't improve either call an audiologist or get a referral from your doc to one. at the audiologist, you will have testing done where you will listen for tones(like the ones you have in school) and most likely a speech recognition threshold test where you will have to repeat words back to the audiologist as she gives them at different decibel levels. they may also give you a tympanogram test which is a little nub they put in your ears for a couple seconds that measures your middle ear pressure to make sure there is not a blockage or fluid in the ears. if it is determined that you have a hearing loss you will get a referral for a hearing aid. they have different types of aids now, the standard ones outside the ear, in the ear ones, and digital in the ear ones (although digital can be quite expensive). also try not to use headphones to listen to music, don't turn music in your car up too loud, or at least don't expose yourself to it for an extended time. if you are using something that is loud, like mowing the lawn or shooting a gun, etc... make sure to wear ear plugs. exposure to sounds higher than 85 decibels for long amounts of time can cause a noise induced hearing loss so it is important to protect your ears. Good Luck and God bless you!!

Thank you very much. You know i have tears in my eyes while reading this with emotions. I am greatful to you dear. God Bless. Report It

While you might not like it the best answer to this problem would be to see an Audiologist and have a hearing test done. You might remember when you where a kid in school and they asked you to raise your hand if you heard the beep?? Well you get to do the fancy version of that now. Once you go to an Audiologist they can test you and see what frequencies you are really missing and then suggest to you the best actions to take from there and possible the best hearing that that would work for your condition and life style. Good luck and hope things work out.

Have your hearing tested. It may be fluid or an infection. They may say it is your age or send you for a CT scan. I was sent for a CT scan. I had an acoustic Neuroma and had to have surgery. Now I am totally deaf in one ear.

Good luck and god bless.
