i have this problem but not sure what it is, i hear finely i hear the loud things are loud and the quiet things are quiet but when i talk to people i hear what theyre saying but i just cant make out what theyre saying, does anyone have any idea what may be going on?
am i just going crazy? lol.

sorry i shud have explained it better, basically i hear everything but its all jumbled up.

You probably have some hearing loss. Go see an audiologist for a hearing evaluation. I hear this all the time and it is typically that a person may have good hearing in the low pitches and may have some hearing loss in the high pitches. A lot of the consonant sounds of English language are higher pitched f,s, th, t, p etc and if you have hearing loss in high pitches you are not hearing a lot of these sounds. Therefore things don't sound clear to you and you may have a lot of misunderstandings as many of these words sound similar - bat, pat, sat, that, fat etc.

i have that problem specially when i come out the shower u may have a hole in ur ear or thick ear wax please note just cause ur ear don't hart u can still have a hole or even a bit of skin growing over it get it checked

when i say ear i mean eardrum

that depends on ur answer, do u hear ever single word but ur brain doesn't understand what the words mean or can you not make out individual words

You could have auditory aphasia: impairment in the understanding of auditory language and communication. Sounds are heard but they convey no meaning

No you are not going crazy. Different sets of groups or people have different grains of expression. Remember we live in subsets of groups and different types of people who have different methods of expression. Are you the type that just stays at home all the time - Its probably because you dont mix with people often that when people are speaking it is difficult to quickly perceptualise what they are saying. May be you need to branch out your group of friends to include different nationalities and different backgrounds. To perceptualise you need to imagine the situation in your head and if you have not been in many situations/experience, then it would be difficult for you to understand quickly. Do you read? May be you need to read more story books. Or May be you need to do a course that requires a degree in something. By the end of the degree you will be confident and start laughing to how you could not understand people before. That will help you to read and interact with people. Go out and join groups. There are loads in the newspapers and start interacting. When joining groups gain the art of listening and observing. Any thing you dont understand just ask them to repeat what they said; dont be afraid to ask questions. Good luck.

Sorry forgot to say that you need to learn the art of concentration. Maybe also you need high doses of vitamin B complex

I have actually heard of this before. It is an auditory medical problem and you need to see a specialist who will test your hearing and make the correct diagnosis.
