Thanks a lot to all the answers about my hearing problem. i think you are all right. But you know my hearing in my left ear was not totally gone, I can still hear but very low sound. And I don't feel any pain from my left ear. I can hear like humming sound and when i pinch and blow my nose I feel the air coming out from it. my left ear is functioning normally. you know, it was affecting my job, because i'm working in a band, i used to sing and to play bass guitar. again, my question is, is this very seriuos or i'll just wait for another 2 or 3days for any changes?thnx a lot guys! You might want to see a doctor about it. It could be tinnitus which would explain the humming sound. Tinnitus is often caused by exposure to loud noise and will get worse in time if you don't protect your ears from loud sound. With tinnitus you would hear humming, buzzing or whooshing type noises in your ear. Please protect your hearing (especially if you're exposed to loud noise when practising with your band) as it could lead to deafness in the future.. Seeing as you added you are in a band, it could be ear damage from the loud noise. I wouldn't wait I would get to the doc asap. It sounds to me like temporary hearing loss due to the music.
