Hearing problem? |
so on tuesday i used q tips to try cleaning my left ear.when i took it out it seemed like i lost some hearing.then the next day i noticed if i pulled my ear lobe i can hear everything normally. on thursday i used q tips again and it got even worse. now the ear lob trick doesnt work. on friday i went to the school nurse and she cleaned my ear. she said she wasn't sure if there was wax blocking the ear drum so she didn't clean that part. does anyone know how to get rid of the wax, because the next time i'm seeing a doctor is in 1 week. Qtips just push the solid wax deeper in your ear and end up impacting it so it becomes difficult to remove. Your ears are self cleaning- the new wax pushes the old wax out. Wax is good for your ears- it keeps debris, insects, and foreign objects from hitting your ear drum. It also keeps the skin conditioned and protected. Your doctor can probably flush out your ears when you see him/her but in the future stay away from the qtips. the salene in tear drops is great even if you pour the whole thing in your ear(and I dont suggest this its expensive) it wont get infected like with water anyway just pour it in slowly let sit for like.. minute then tilt your head and pour it out |
