Heres the thing, as far as right now, I dont have health insurance, but I've seen online around my city where I live, that there are for example "hear usa" or speech therapist, but do I need to have health insurance to be able to make an appointment, to one of those places? Honestly, in my opinion I just want to go straight to a audiologist, or a speech therapist, cause I remember going to the doctor soooo many times, and they would just tell me that yes I do have low hearing, and give me tests and back and forth, what do you guys think? Are there any universities with speech and hearing programs around where you live? They often ahve clinics and offer speech and audiology services for a very low cost. Plus, they usually have a sliding payment scale and base your cost on how much you can pay.
