What is the name of that disorder where you think you always have another disorder after hearing about it?

My friend thinks he has the disorder where if you hear about another disease/disorder, you automaticly start feeling the illusion that you have that said dissorder/disease. is there a specific term/name for this?

Hypochondria-
Hypochondriacs are known to constantly believe they are sick when it is "all in their head". As for only doing this when he hears about a new disorder, I am not sure.

hypochondria

Hypochondriac.

Munchausen syndrome~ the affected person exaggerates or creates symptoms of illnesses in themselves in order to gain investigation, treatment, attention, sympathy, and comfort from medical personnel. It is distinct from hypochondria in that the patient is aware that he is exaggerating, while sufferers of hypochondria actually believe they have a disease.

hypocondriac

munchausen is when you're doing it on purpose for attention. hypochondria is when you feel pain somewhere and freak out that it might be a tumor or some other serious health problem.
