What are the 12 steps to eating disorder recovery i keep hearing about?

i'm 2 weeks and 5 days into recovery and it's hell on me. i'm desperate for help. i've joined an online support group, but i don't seem to be getting any responses or welcome messages... i don't know if its because i haven't been on the site long enough, but i'm new at this whole recovery thing, and i need help now, not later. i can't afford professional help, and i can't afford to keep destroying my body. please help me somebody!!!

kew- send me an e-mail sometime. i'll leave my option to recieve e-mail for a couple of hours. hopefully you'll get this. i couldn't e-mail you.

i'm in recovery right now, also. the 12 steps can be found here: http://www.eatingdisordersanonymous.org/...

i just started treatment on wednesday and am having a hard time, too. let me know if you want to talk!

How many people know? My cousin is going through this too. I keep a very close eye on her. First off if you take any pills DROP THEM. No matter how hard drop them they are terrible for you.

Secondly eat a fruit every morning and a meal at lunch (obviously) that is very high in calories because you need them back (that is if your annerexic.) If not ask all your family tell them about this and hope they understand and they will keep you in line.

Good Luck
