Has anyone heard of Remuda Ranch in AZ. it's for eating disorders...if so what do you think of it?

I live in Arizona and have heard of it, it has one of best places to go and get treated for an eating disease. I have a web site for you to look into. I know for a fact that they just don't treat the eating problem but also treat the people for other problems. I have a friend that went there and she is doing wonderful after wards.

Remuda Ranch provides individualized, intensive inpatient programs for women and adolescent girls suffering from anorexia and bulimia. In our unique, non-institutional settings, our treatment teams, consisting of Psychiatric and Primary Care Providers, Registered Dietitians, Masters Level Therapists, Psychologists and Registered Nurses, provide residents with the tools necessary for healthy living.

do not know that place but would like to say one thing its always a good thing to seek out medical advice see a doctor that might know of other people that have used the place and go and take a look around you can always get the feel of a place when looking around. maybe you would be able to talk to a couple of the people that are in there and see how they feel about the place. take care

Yes! I was a patient at Remuda Ranch for almost 3 months in 2000. They absolutely saved my life. I would whole-heartedly and without reservation recomend their program. The staff is increadibly compassionate and they have an amazing ability to get to the root of what really matters in an eating disorder. Their recovery rates are by far the best in the industry. The facilities are beautiful and I felt really safe there. They'll work with you financially, so don't let the price tag scare you off. Check out their website. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you might have. Good luck.
