Has anyone ever heard of a disorder called "sleep aggression'?

My boyfriend has taken to hitting, pinching and kicking or slapping me in his sleep. He has no memory upon waking of having done this and does not believe me when i tell him that he has despite the bruises, etc, it does not happen all the time and only happens when he is deeply asleep, any suggestions?

either he is telling you the truth, or he is doing this on purpose, to really get to you...tell him you will have to sleep in another bed, till he get's 'therapy' for his problem, and that you are afraid he will REALLY hurt you....betcha it mysteriously goes away ...lol

video tape ur night sleep....and prove him wrong

i think he needs to speak to a therapist or doctor
