Health Insurance for unemployed 64 yr old male with health issues? |
My brother lives in Fort Lauderdale Fl and he is retired due to some illnesses. Can you help me out and give me info regarding health insurance. He is living with his social security only and no longer has health insurance. provisions of the insrurance code do not accept insured with old aged person with serious illness. unless Find an insurance agent you trust who sells suplemental policies. The agents are one of his best sources for what he needs. He is eligible for both Medicade and Medicare products through Soc. Sec. Have you called Medicare...it does cover people with some illnesses that are under 65. Check out the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz...there are 224 pages of ways you can save money and how to negotiate with your doctor and Medicare....it was very helpful to me and helped me save a ton of money. I purchased my book on amazon. |
