Hay Fever Itchy Eyes?

Hello

There are several questions asking for ides on how to stop itchy eyes due to hay fever. I was just wondering if anyone has had any genuine success in dealing with this problem AS ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!! Hay fever tablets (zyrtec, telfast, claratyne) do nothing at all and the eye drops i have tried only help slightly for annoying itchy eyes.
Any help on what has actually worked for you to stop itchy eyes would be MUCH APPRECIATED

Thanks

I have Rhinitis which is actually a lot like hay fever and my eyes during those times are pinkish to bloodshot and they're itchy. I'm afraid that's all the doctors could prescribe...what I do to alleviate the symptoms are the following:I wear dark coloured shades to protect them from glares. Also don't go out much when my rhinitis strikes...if I really had to work I'd usually stay away from dusty places and I NEVER touch my eyes unless it's really necessary.

I recommend an herbal formula that contains Astragalus, Nettle and Marshmallow root - works great, no side effects and very safe. Can't hurt to look in a health food store near you!

This is a tough one cos hayfever is a ***** anyway try (piriton) there quite good and quite alot of tablets do actually work but you have to take them right..most of em take 2/3 days to kick in and you have to take em everyday to carry on working (piriton) i think they take 15 mins to kick and work pretty good

other than that im not sure to be honest i just had to put up with it but after a few summers of taking tablets my hayfever seems too be non existant which is all good after 20 yrs of suffering like a ***** from it

YES-the best way to CURE this is to take a teaspoon of LOCAL honey each day. The local honey will work with your body to develop immunities to all the air born irritants around you. Stay away from decongestants and nose sprays-they dry out your body and cause long term organ damage. Did you know that the leading cause of death in the elderly is kidney failure due to too much medication over time? Like all herbal remedies, it will take a while to become effective but you will also notice that you get fewer cold and flu symptoms as well. I used to really bad allergies until I started using local honey. I have been allergy free for over 20 years.

Yes there is a natural cure but it takes time. It won't cure you overnight. Take Bee Pollen Pellets. DO NOT use the capsules they are full of inverted sugars (fillers). You will notice a difference in thirty days or less but will be completely allergy free after a year. BUT you HAVE TO TAKE it everyday. Other benefits of Bee Pollen are added energy, healthier skin, hair and nails (highest natural source of B vitamins). More protein than an eight ounce steak. These are plant proteins BTW.
