Hay fever with hives? |
Can having hay fever cause mild hives? My hay fever has been pretty bad today and I also have mild hives. I don't think I have any other allergies. Yes,I agree, plus they say that once you have one allergy, you usually aquire a few more.So you may have been in contact with something like a plant, and this has brought you out in hives.Keep taking your antihistamines for the hives too,as they will help. You can...what were you doing? Were you around horses or cattle? Were you playing with a cat? Were you around any bins of hay? Are you on any medication? You could have this type fo allergic reaction to a single thing or two seperate things. If you were around animals it could possibly cause you to sneeze, get a runny nose and skin hives. Another thought....if you are also on medication some serious side affects that may not show up right away but weeks later (now) could look like hives or a rash. Without knowing the whole story I would take a shower and see if that helps if you just think it's an allergic reaction to something like animals. If however you suspect it's medication that is causing your "hives" or "rash" seek medical treatment asap. If you start looking "puffy" and red, having trouble breathing this becomes quite serious and needs medical assistance asap. Your body is telling you it doesn't like what it was exposed to. Hope this helps! |
