Hay Fever question?

I get hay fever every spring and fall. This past spring my doctor told me to take Claritin. It worked then and it isn't working now. I don't have medical yet and I start a new job in 2 days. Is there anything over the counter that will give me any sort of relief??

It is best that you see a doctor for a prescription.

However, please be aware that medications may not be effective and too much is not a good thing. So you should reduce your reliance on drugs for relief.

A lot of over the counter store brand stuff is just as good as name brand stuff. But, for better help during the day; take something that says non drowsy. Take other stuff at night.

try a OTC med called nasalcrom.
it is a histamine blocker and is good for people with high blood presure. has no drug interaction.
it takes about 5 to 7 days to be fully effective.
you can start it about a week before your hayfever usually starts in the spring and fall.

i have been using it for about 8 years now
before i found out about it i had hayfever year round.
my hayfever was so bad it felt like my face was going to split down the center.

i found out about it because of high blood pressure
most hay fever meds are bad for people with HBP
and a nurse told me about it.
