Any relation between hay fever...and being sleepy and tired all the time??? |
I've recently discovered that I've hay fever...and since I feel sleepy and tired all the time....I slept 10 hours yesterday and 3 hours after I woke up I wanted to sleep again... Absolutely! Allergies can make you very sleepy. First, you should check with your physician to make sure all of this fatigue is actually allergy related and not something else. What I have found that works well for me is taking over-the-counter Claritin (plain ... NOT Claritin-D) on the days I have allergies really bad. My allergies and my fatigue usually clear up in a few hours. Check with your pharmacist to see if Claritin is right for you (based on medical history, drug interactions (very few with Claritin), age, etc...). Hayfever Hey. Not sure but it kinda sounds like u could have mono?? Im tired alot of the time too, and I sleep alot but I dont really have a fever. If you do have mono, then you should really get help from a doctor so it doesnt spread and stuff. Especially if u are a highschool or college student. In the meanwhile, just take some aspirin to keep your fever down and rest. Take care! Hay fever can keep you from sleeping well, so you would feel tired. When I had bad hay fever, I would wake up every 15 minutes all night long, so of course I was tired. Your immune system does most of its work when you sleep. Doctors recommend that people with allergies get ten hours of sleep a day. It could be that the allergies have just worn you down. Make sure you take vitamins. Sudafed or over the counter Claritin D will perk you up and get rid of quite a bit of allergy symptoms, alternatively, straight claritin should clear up most without the hype of an ephederine. You will feel better without the allergy symptoms, for sure. You are feeling weak huh. There is a relation. But in "Fever", you won't mostly feel sleepy unless you take some medicine. I'm sorry I can't be helpful to you in this question , but I hope that you will be very good soon , take care of yourself . |
