Hay fever....could I have found the cure ? |
I suffered from really debilitating hayfever. Couldn't go outside in the summer from childhood on without constant sneezing ....breathe in sneeze ....breathe in sneeze...... and itchy streeming eyes. One year my husband made 40 ( yes 40 ) gallons of elderflower wine. We drunk a bottle every night over the winter. I have never had hay fever since. Why don't you try it. You have to have someone else do the collecting of the flowers and brewing but it is a pleasant drink anyway. Let me know if it works. I believe you! If nettles work, then why shouldn't elderberry flowers? Enjoy! You prob. just built up your tolerence of the outside by drinking whatever was left int he wine. That's pretty cool though. That's very good! Perhaps it was a steady build up of immunity to the drink? Congratulations anyway!:D I do not suffer from hay fever but I am prepared to be the Guinea pig for an experiment or trial if necessary. haha. That is awesome! Don't know if it will work for everyone, but it's sure cool it worked for you. |
