Hay Fever? Ragweed? ALLERGIES!!! HELP!? |
I live in NYC and for the past couple of days I been feeling very groggy and kept getting itchy throat and ears. Today I woke up feeling a billion times worst, like i have a cold. My sinuses are hurting so bad, my nose is clogged yet leaky (eww) and I have a stuffy head, im just an all around mess! I've taken claritin and benadryl but nothing is working. People keep saying it could be hay fever or ragweed but I dunno, all I do know is that my cat seems to be making it worst which is weird cause I've never been allergic to cats before. I have no idea Brook but I am going through those same exact things and I am still not 100% although sudafed sinus & allergy as helped alot! I am on the East Coast too and I suggest that you go to a drugstore, such as Walgreen's and ask the pharmacist for Advil Severe Allergy and Sinus. It works really good. A lot of your store brand over the counter stuff is just as good as the name brand stuff. But, one thing I would caution you on is to be sure to read the front of the medication carefully. Make sure that it says non drowsy. I have found that most of the non drowsy stuff works well during the day and take something for the allergies that will help you sleep at night. I just moved to the Jersey shore from Atlanta Labor Day weekend and I am DYING! My sinuses feel full, head aches., my eyes and nose are watery. The back of my throat is scratchy and I can't breathe through my nose at night. Grrrr. Claritin doesn't seem to be working. Is this ragweed or what? |
