Problem with my hay fever medicine why isn't it working?

i get an over the counter remedy which is a one a day tablet i take it in the morning
trouble is by late afternoon my symtoms return
any advice?

used eye drops and nasel spray a couple of years ago it was terrible its get on with them at all very hard to do eyes drops nasel spray just made me sneeze

I have terrible allergies and each year I can add to my list of allergins this includes food as well. A few years ago when I went in for my bi-weekly allergy shot my doctor told me that you should switch your medication about every 6 months or so because your body will begin to build an immunity to the medicine itself. Might be that you need to switch your OTC hay fever medicine for another brand and switch back in other 6 months.

I went the doctors, explained my problem, she gave me eye drops and nasal spray, i take them every 4 hours and i dont even get any symptoms, it is worth it. have a try :) x
