Eyebright and hay fever? |
I have just read that Eyebright can help sooth eyes irritated by allergies. Has anyone tried it and if so, was it successful? Also, whats the best form to take it in? Fantastic!! Buy it as Euphrasia tincture which you need to dilute with sterile water. Fabulous! I use a lot of it with my homoeopathic patients this time of year & ALL swear by it! Eyebright has never been approved by the FDA, and saying that it helps with allergies is probably totally related to the placebo effect, which means that you "think" the medicine is working, and therefore your body makes you feel better. The other poster is a registered homeopath? More like psychopath! Homeopathic medicine has never been proven, and if you look into it you start to realize that the people that support it have NEVER taken a Microbiology class, or sat through an Immunology lecture, or been in an Anatomy dissection. So you make your decision on who to listen to, the people that cared enough to learn about your body to help you, or the people that just "think" they know what is best for you by what has "helped in the past." You be the judge. In UK? Boots own brand of hayfever eye drops are good |
