PCOS question?

Im 33 years old I have hashimoto's disease (thyroid) and I have been pregant 5 times, I have a healthy 15 year old son. I have had 2 ectopic pregnancies, losing my left tube with the first ectopic and the second was treated with methotrexate. Now my dr is saying I have PCOS. I have a period regulary every month unless im pregnant, I ovulate every month with CM, rise in body temp. and ovulation tests...My question is I read that with PCOS you dont have regular periods or ovulate...so could it be possible that I really dont have PCOS?

yes u can have regular periods! pcos is polycystic ovary disease meaning u have cysts on ur ovaries if u have regular periods, this is because morethan one egg matures but only 1 is released making u have a period, u only have periods when u release an egg, most women dot relese eggs regularly. but it is possible that u have more than one egg maturing but only one being release causeing you ot obth have cysts on ur ovaries and regular periods, talk to ur doctor more and dod some research, also try ot get in with an endocrinologist, they will be able ot help you more and a dermatologist to help wiht any other symptoms u might have such as acne, hair growth and other things that are embarassing for you. i know what ur going through, my doctor thinks i have it too its because u have to much insulin and androgens which are male hormones.gl 2 u, i know what ur going through

You usually don't ovulate, but if you do, you may just have high tesosterone levels. I'm sorry, I don't know much about PCOS, but I hope I helped a little.
