Vinegar for Insulin Resistance?

I was diagnosed with Insulin Resistance a few months ago...I was on metformin but it makes me so sick and I hate taking medicine...I was reading that vinegar is known to help reduce Insulin Resistance... My glucose fasting results were only 105... i was told the normal range is 70-99...Im looking for a way that I can reduce my glucose level without taking meds. I have Hashimoto's disease (thyroid). Has anyone else heard of using vinegar, or has anyone tried it, if so what were your results...Im looking for any suggestions. Thank you!!

Hi...I have IR too. Hate it. :)

Met made me sicker than a dog too. So glad to be off that...

I have heard that apple cider vinegar can stablize your blood sugar but am too chicken to try it...it smells funny... ha ha... so I am a dork and eat sugar free/yeast free to keep my IR under control.

Here's a site about it. I have a coworker who cured his wifes blood disease ('not curable' per her doctor) with ACV and he takes it for everything!! http://www.celestialhealing.net/applecid...

GOOD LUCK!!!!
