How can I tell if I have vertigo? |
Yesterday morning I woke up really early, so later that afternoon I took a nap. I didnt actually sleep, I just lied down for maybe 1 1/2 hours. While I was lying down I sat up to fix my pillow and it felt like the room was spinning. When I got up a few minutes later I was stumbling around. It sounds very much like vertigo..It can be caused by lots of things, some not serious, such as ear infections, some more serious , such as MS. Try taking a motion sickness drug such as Dramamine or mechlizine and see your Dr when you get home vertigo is prolong and u have to have more dizziness then just that. i have severe vertigo and a balance disorder, ur dizziness can be just moving too fast or getting up too fast. if it proceeds for longer then a month and a half then see a doctor |
