I've had vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, third time a little over a month. Virus?

I started getting dizzy & cold sweat & felt lightheaded. I started w/ diarrhea & had that for approx. 14 hrs. I also have IBS, so of course this (virus?) messed that up & it took approx. 2 weeks to get my stomach back in order. Almost the day my stomach was better, I experienced the same thing again. This time, no vomiting, no diarrhea, only extremely nausious. Again almost 2 weeks to recover. Almost the day that I was better, not long after waking began the same thing. This time I vomited so much & then I started w/ diarrhea. This lasted approx.16 hours. I get very dizzy every time I get this. I've been to 2 doctors. Both say virus, but we have bad dr.s here & so I don't trust them. Could this be a virus so close together? I'm very good about the usual precautions for avoiding viruses (handwashing, etc.)& staying hydrated. This time they found I also have a sinus & ear infection. Any serious advice please?

Ask your docs about a Western Blot.
