Help! What do I do about my dry blistered hands?

I have 2 jobs, one at a restaurant(waitressing). At the restaurant, they are very @nal about handwashing very frequently. That, coupled w/ the fact that I have very sensitive skin, is leaving me w/ extremely dry, red, cracked hands. Yesterday after work, I had tiny cuts in the skin on one side of the back of my right hand, and tiny little scabs and bruises. The back of my right hand(the hand I use) is drastically worse than the left. It's at the point where it hurts to wash my hands so frequently. I tried some Bath & Body Works vanilla hand lotion, but it stung like crazy and made my hands even more red and inflamed.

What should I do?? Are there any cheap lotions that won't agitate my skin? I think the Bath & Body Works lotion agitated my hand b/c it has microscopic little open cuts. Would vaseline help? Should I limit my handwashing, or only scrub my palms w/ soap so often?(lol managers won't know)

My hands(esp. my right hand) look like a mess, and they hurt too! :(

1> dont stop washing your hands =)
2> DONT use Vaseline - it's not good for you - it's made with petrol (gas)
3> Don't use cheap-cheap stuff (you get what you pay for).

if you can, use Shea Butter.
You can find Shea butter either on ebay, or in soap supply shops (and yes, it IS cheaper to buy from a supply house then to go to the ritzy department stores - and it's the same thing).

When you get the butter - keep it in the fridge.

Get yourself a pair of night gloves - then before bed, wash your hands, and spread the Shea Butter all over your hands (you can also put this on your face, neck, anywhere you have dry skin)...then put the gloves on and go to bed. This will help UNdry your skin.

In a pinch, Lubraderm (spelling is wrong I think) is also good.

PS. you don't have to limit the Shea butter to just nights. Put a little less on your hands in the day time. This also is a great product for your lips and around your eyes (helps reduce wrinkles).

Try to buy Unrefined Shea Butter.
I've given you an ebay link - the price looks pretty good (I'd tell you to see my store, but i'm all sold out).
I dont know the ebay seller - but if you have any questions, feel free to ask me...
