What do people with OCD do? |
Hey. Does anyone have OCD on here? I've had ocd my whole life. It's horrible. My habits are these OCD is a psychiatric anxiety disorder most commonly characterized by a person's obsessive, distressing, intrusive thoughts and compulsions (tasks or "rituals") which attempt to neutralize the obsessions. I am not diagnosed, but I tend to act like it at times. I enjoy organizing things, and have things ordered from largest to smallest. I don't like messy, bad smelling rooms, and immediately tend to have an urge to clean. My husband says I do things I don't notice. People who have serious cases, it tends to affect their lives in serious ways. Such as, they cannot leave the house without doing a certain routine. OCD can't really be cured, but those who want to solve this problem when it interferes go to a psychiatrist. See this website for more info. Hope this helps! |
