Hand-skin injury due to chin-ups? |
I do chin-ups with a bar and the point where my fingers end, my fingers skin has thickened and its very painful. whts it called and wht should i do? It will gradually get less sensitive, but you should be wearing gloves or something to protect that area until you can gradually toughen it up. Put moisturizing lotion (like Aveeno) on at bedtime and after your showers. They are called callouses, and you could try wrapping your hands with a tape, or use chalk on them to stop the friction. |
