Damaged Hand? |
About 2 months ago i hurt my ring finger on my right hand quite badly (through a basketball related injury) i went to the doctors and they said it was a damaged tendon and that i would have to wrap it up for a couple of weeks. I did this and then took the bandage off when i was advised to. Recently though it has been aching a bit and i noticed that it was still very swollen, about 1.5 times the width of my other fingers. Is this a problem? and will it ever return to normal size? Perhaps you had a break or sprain? A few weeks is quite a span of time for it to still be swollen. You may want to put a splint on it and give it another week or two and if its still swollen have it looked at. |
