My hand goes to sleep while standing a lot, anyone know what that problem could be?"?

No injuries

I'm having a similar problem right now -- it's probably pressure on a nerve. Doesn't have to be from an injury. I'm going to physical therapy for it because mine is probably from an old neck injury, and the therapy is helping. Plus when I go to sleep, I have to prop that arm on a pillow to eliminate the pressure on my shoulder. That is helping a lot!!!

If it persists, you should ask your doctor about it and see what he/she suggests.

You have a pinched nerve...somewhere.

Pinched nerve? Hyniated disk? Circulatory problem? Could be any number of things, but you need to see a doctor about it. Limbs do not go numb for no reason.

could be a pinched nerve in your shoulder. try a very warm hot water bottle on your shoulder for a while when your hand goesnumb. Should help.
I've been going to a Dr. for years for the same thing and heat is my best answer.

Blood pooling in your finger tips Low blood pressure is the main cause

If your fingers feel kind of strange is the main flag of this problem

The cure to every once and a while while standing take your problem hand and rub your ear

You'll be surprised how easy a cure it is

Not moving enough.

Yep, that sounds cheeky, but it's not meant to be. If you're in the military on an observation post or on parade, then you have a problem. If not, keep moving your arms, or at the very least your fingers. I assume you mean you get a numb feeling? If it persists despite moving your arms, then it's likely to be a pinched nerve somewhere up in your shoulder or neck. If it's concentrated on only one or two fingers, then that helps doctors determine which nerve is affected and where it's being pinched.
