A few questions with my injuries.?

Right: Here's what I'm confused about:

1. About a year and a half ago, I dislocated, fractured and snapped the main ligament on my collar bone during judo. I was off exercise for 3 months and had operations.

When I came back, my judo went down the drain. The competitions I usually won at I lost every single time. I lost all my confidence and I was worried about my shoulder. After a year I quit. I've had to come back for my GCSE's. I wear a shoulder support but I don't have the confidence? (I go stiff when people try to throw me.) What can boost my confidence? (to be able to train hard and stuff.)

2. Today, I had a big karting event on, someone went over the front of me and the kart crushed my thumb. The paramedics there said it was a bruised joint, I can move it all round apart from the right. It doesn't hurt now but should I check it up with a doctor? It doesn't hurt when I race, only when I open things with my left hand.

ermmm well with the judo u should just try and not thin about your shoulder. concentrate on the moves and just practise alot. maybe just start with the easy stuff and gradually try harder things. should get your conidence up

with the thumb, give it a couple days and if it desnt get better or your still worried get it checked out. you can never be too careful with things like that you dont want any long term damage.

Your age would help, but I'm guessing you're young. Without knowing your age, it's really hard to give you a clear-cut answer.

I would talk this over with your doctor and secondly your trainer. I would recommend gradually getting back into these things.
