What are some good exercises I could do to burn kcals and weight without putting too much strain on my body? |
This may sound like a bit of strange question. Please let me explain myself! I have neurological disorder that causes my hands and forearms to go numb and well as my feet and legs. Lately, weight lifting has been VERY hard for me as I just do not have the strength that I once did. I go 3 miles (60 minute) walk 3 times a week and that helps me mentally and physically, but it isn't taking the weight off like I would hope for. What are some other low impact exercises that I could do that would help me to lose this weight? Biking is great for burning tons of calories with very little strain. Leslie Sansone has "Walk Away The Pound" DVDs. They are multi muscle walks that also work cardio. They start at one mile and go up to five. She also has fast walk tapes as well as jog tapes. I think swimming is suitable for you. It gives all muscles exercises; furthermore, it releases all heat produced into the water. You can walk for about 40 mins / day for 5days a week or for all the 7days if possible. Jogging will be better if you can jog. You can go in for Yoga if you have a proper guide. You could try tai chi or yoga, as they are more gentle exercises which will develop core strength without impacting the joints etc. I came across this great product for weight loss and it was excellent for me. Together with a good diet and exercise I am finally happy with my body and the way I look. You should check this product at |
