Name This Disorder?

I was wondering if any behavioral wizzes could give me some insight on what I have been dealing with for 2 years.

I just quit a job working 4 a millionaire woman who, I think has some sort of disorder, etc. This is what I had 2 deal with:

*After getting in my car to drive to work, she will call about once to up to three times a week to have "the day off" because she is not "feeling well."

*She doesn't have any friends really, only an ex-gf who goes to lunch with her at least 3 times a week. The ex-gf brings her new lover to lunch as well, and my boss pays for everything.

*When my boss goes out of town, she calls me many times a day to hunt down homeopathic medicines and vitamins to be overnighted to her. (This interferes with the real work at hand, but I drop everything and do it.)

*She leaves work everyday to run off to a homeopathic docs appt, or massage therapist b/c she is "feeling bad"

*I had to order $$$ of herbal patches that stick to her body to make "feel happy".

*She also has a real problem with men, belittles them when she talks about them. Talks about how wonderful women are- that they are "saints" in her eyes.

*Ther must be a glass of water half full by the sink at all times, or she gets upset.

*There must be a #2 lead pencil by the kitchen counter at all times or she gets upset.

*She made me wipe down each blind in her house with a specific window cleaner, followed by wiping them down with water.

*Vaccums with extreme force EVERY DAY!

*Used to Make me massage her feet and push on her muscles during work when she was feeling "overwhelmed."

*Looks miserable in social situations with that fake plastered on smile.

*Others say things behind her back like: "she is not very cooperative."

I've had to deal with this long enough, now I need stability. I have felt like I was dealing with a disease or something. I am a naturally happy soul- had my ups & downs but don't let it eat me alive.

Any ideas what she may have?

She has a host of problems, but the main one that comes to mind is OCD. I mean, that number 2 pencil and the washing the blinds that way....if that's not OCD, then I don't know what it is. Did you ever watch "As Good as it Gets?" You'll see OCD in that movie.

What kind of work does she do???

She sounds like a lonely and unhappy person, possibly depressed. She is looking for a miracle to help her feel better, therefore she buys homeopathy products.

She's got an obsessive compulsive depression disorder.. and only the Phantom knows what else... She is a hypochondriac also maybe? Imagined medical problems hurt people as much as real problems. If she is not seeing a therapist.. she should be. But then that is her business and maybe she does want some aspects of her life to be private.

Sounds more like an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Things like the water and pencils show a need to get control. But of what ? That is always the hard part - getting to the sick point. She loathes men and praises women. Maybe she is just unable to come to terms with preference, or maybe she had a bad time with some guy. Only someone getting real close could find out.
