If I derive immense pleasure from food, how do I stop eating and go do something else?

I am in transition of working through my food issues and I realized that while eating, even if I am full I derive so much pleasure from the eating that it becomes hard to stop eating and go on to the next task at hand, any ideas from anyone who has dealt with food/binging/eating disorders?

Yeah tell me about it. It is a big thing we have to learn how to handle. One thing I do is chew my food properly, as in chew and chew and chew some more. It turns into slush and takes some of the pleasure out, but mainly it helps my body realise it is full before I overeat, so my meals are becoming smaller.
