Marijuana a depressant or hallucinogen or both? |
I recently took a drivers ed quiz and i came across a t/f question that stated " Is marijuana a depressant drug" and i said true getting it wrong. the answer was false because my teacher said it was considered a hallucinogen. so f* him cuz i think im right From my personal experience, I would not classify marijuana as a hallucinogen myself. However, remembering health class, it is classified as one. It has something to do with how THC actually takes effect in your brain. It's cool,man! It makes you eat...they give it to Aids patients...so the hype about it, is all depending on who you ask....its from the earth, not someone's basement who concocted a potion and added other stuff. I agree with you. I've never hallucinated on pot. I don't believe it's possible. Also i'm not sure sure i agree 100% that it's a depressant. I would be more apt to think a stimulant. A mild hallucinogen, marijuana has some of alcohol鈥檚 depressant and disinhibiting properties. User reaction, however, is heavily influenced by expectations and past experience, and many first-time users feel nothing at all. It is but I have been smoking for a while and I have never once EVER hallucinated...Ive gotten the munchies, Ive passed out, Ive laughed so hard my faced hurt but never hallucinated. Now shrums...they make you see crazy sh@t, lmao. Marijuana is an hallucinogen. If you answered depressant then f*you! you are wrong! its neither um ur teacher is a dumbass and has obviously never smoked marijuana before When the government began to classify drugs into classes for the "drug war" purpose they really couldn't place marijuana into the class of a depressant or stimulant. They, unfortunately, placed it in the hallucinogen class along with LSD, Mushrooms etc (other rec drugs) despite its lack of hallucinogenic properties. Unfortunately It has remained there and that classification has hindered the legalization process. I would think depressant. No it is not, i have been using it for years. All that will happen is you get hungry, and feel really relaxed. If you smoke a lot you can however get a paranoia high, and feel like your heart is all ****** up and you are hearing noises, but it does not happen often. |

I would say Marijuana but its not a drug but a natural plant that man does not mix with chemicals(eccept if its laced of course) to get some dangerously addictive monster drug like meth, coke, hero... Maybe intake through the lungs , the blood., the skin you ask to much question . good luck ...not sleeping...not dreaming when you sleep (even if you don't remember the dreams...) a really HIGH fever...a reaction to antibiotics or pain meds ...From what I understand, mental illness is passed on from the mothers genes. To me it does not sound like you are bipolar or schizo. It sounds like you may have SAD & Generalized Anxiety Disor... C B A D A ...To my knowledge you cannot overdose on hallucinogens. I would think Heroin or a type of stimulant would give the worse or quickest OD. Speed would stop your heart b/c it worked to hard then heroi... Well, as much as you love your friend, some friendships just aren't healthy. You put the distance needed between you and your druggie friends, and you should do the same with your friends who&... it is basically a disorder that is caused by someone who has taken hallucinoge drugs and has like flashbacks and sees things like visions and such when the flashback. There is no cure for it cause... |
