For people who tried cough medicine (DXM aka Robotussin) and LSD or shrooms..?

What is the difference in the Robo trip (dissasociative) and the shroom or LSD (hallucinogen) trip?

I know Lsd and shrooms have different trips, but what is the diff of trips (dissasociatives and hallucinogens)?

I've never drank Robitussin....it always seemed like such a white trash high...something compared to sniffing paint...no thanks!.....
However, in my youth and even into my not-so youthful youth...I have taken LSD, and mushrooms, many more times than once....and no, I am not insane...or of low intelligence (most of the time)....but I can tell you, that I have had bad trips; as well as, strychnine poisoning and sometimes, even now, twenty years later...I still get flashbacks...and sometimes, their not so fun....so if you've already experimented....just know, my strong mind and drug-experienced friends, helped me through my bad trips....and on your next trip....you may not be so lucky....

From people I have talked to and everything I have read .. LSD will perminently change you. very few think it was for the better.

It's like the difference between your whole world turning upside down (LSD) and feeling 'out of it' (DXM) but still understanding your world. LSD is a way more all-encompassing powerful experience, and it can be a terrifying one.

I used to take both when I was younger. And as an adult I've studied neuropharmacology and brain architecture. I'm advising you NOT to take LSD. And I don't issue the same advice for all recreational drugs, nor am I a bible-thumper - I'm someone who's experienced this particular drug. The permament damage you will do to your brain is astonishing, and I can't imagine anyone who actually understood brain structure enough to know what LSD does would ever take it.

From what has happened to a few of my friends,I can tell you.They were never the same.One of them went on disability,and won't come out of the house and the other one is in a place we call the "snake pit",this is the basement of a mental hospital.Its really a sad site to see,and they were so beautiful before they started messing with shrooms and tussin.I personally think and know that it is sick behavior to ingest this crap.Might as well huff gasoline.PEACE and Stop trying to BLOW your mind.It can do that just looking around.
