Some questions about the pineal gland?

ive read some stuff about the pineal gland and i find it very interesting, i would love to know more about it.

1) is that where your soul is stored? i read that ancient budhist's used to say that your soul doesnt enter your body until you are 49 days old, then scientists found that your pineal gland doesnt show up until your 49 days old.

2) is it really like a third eye? i read it actually has a cornea and a pupil just like an eyeball.

3) i also read that the hallucinogen DMT actually grows on the pineal gland, someone wrote a book about it called "dmt the spirit molecule". is it true?

oh and feel free to state any other facts that you know about, it would be very much appreciated. thanks in advance.

You know, that's a very good question. I looked in my Nursing Dictionary and all it says is where it's located, what hormone it MAY secrete (melatonin), and "Its precise function has not been established." Have you tried to google it?
