Thujone - Wikipedia says it's not a hullicinogen but every other site says it is?

WHICH IS CORRECT. although it has a similar chemical makeup to marijuana, it does not affect the same brain receptors...it actually inhibits the GABA receptors which causes death but small amounts(i.e. wormwood, sage) will create a "lucid" state(which helps in memory and may help alzheimers but not tested yet). However, no answers on how it makes you hallucinate so I'm starting to think wikipedia is correct; if so, then what exactly DOES. From what I read so far, it looks like everyone who tripped on ABSINTHE was chemically embalanced to begin with. Then I went to Erowid.org and read on a boy who smoked it and had the same elf/fairy hallucinations of those who drink it....so what do you think? Do you have any facts that can help? I hope it's not a hallucinogen!

i wouldnt always go by what wikkipedia says. any person can put information on that site so it may not be always hold true.

As for thujone try searching it on webmd.com
