im 16 and my hairs falling out, well not in clumps, my hair just seems to be thinner and if i scruff my hair up you can clearly see the patches!!!! help me, im worried, my hair just seems to be getting thinner from the front but from the back who knows i dont have eyes there, is there something i can do, is it related to stress i might be under? i think this mustve been happening for ages b/c i used to find a lot small amounts of hair on my duvet but didnt tyk to notice b/c i sometimes sleep cammando, is there something i should be doing or something i shouldn't be doing???? btw i dont use any hair products simply b/c i cant style my hair, however i have tried to use head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner the purple version (its to do with hair thinning) but that doesnt seem to work too.

Hair loss can have many causes, getting older, having certain diseases such as thyroid problems, taking medications even not eating a healthy diet. Since you are 16 the top possibilities would seem to be diet and thyroid issues.
Take a look at this site for more info.

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Applying castor oil regularly may help. Also, application of coconut oil with lime juice frequently may arrest hair loss. There many such suggestions listed on a site called tandurust.com. I have listed the page in the source. May help you get some tips?

Our hair is viewed by many humans as our crowning glory, quite literally. We lose, on average, 50-100 strands each day which are replaced by new hair follicles. However, age, genetics or illness can cause this new hair growth to slow and balding patterns can occur.

Although mens hair loss cannot be avoided, you can improve the health of your hair and scalp to delay further loss.
